First time of a 16 month . At what age did you guys cut your babies hair? What’s the ideal age to start?

When you want to. My son could have got his at 8 months it was starting to get in his eyes but it was so cute. I cut it for his first birthday.

We trimmed her hair when she was around 20 months. Her hair has always been thin and it doesn't grow fast. So we just trim her bangs and then even out the back a little

My daughter is 2 and I’ve never cut her hair, if she ever asks me to then I’ll take her to get it done but until then I won’t touch it. I know how to style long hair so it isn’t an issue.

my son is almost 2 and we haven’t cut his hair. he also barely has any lmao he’s probably tripled the amount of hair he’s had since he’s been 1, or maybe it darkened a little and that’s why it looks fuller. my BIL is 4 and my in laws just cut his hair like last year for the first time ever. they thought it was the cutest but it was awful. but i’m not the parent of him!

4 months. It was very long on his neck, way past his ears, and in his eyes.

It all about preference. There is not an ideal age. Both my boys were around 1 because the hair was in their eyes and irritating them. Some people trim sooner, some don’t cut the hair until much later.
