So long story short, I miscarried my beautiful boy on Jan 3rd at 15 weeks. It was due to my placenta erupting from my work where I was lifting 40lbs. I naturally delivered my boy and the placenta. Before I was discharged from the hospital they stopped me cause in the ultrasound they took they found many images of possible placenta pieces. My OB ignored it and said I was fine and discharged me. Only a couple days later did I pass a placenta piece the size of a lemon.

About 2 weeks later I was told by my OB that me and my SO could start trying again. So that’s what me and my SO did. We have been trying since, I’ve gotten my 3 regular periods on time and even know I have ovulated but still nothing is happening. We have never had any trouble conceiving at all.

Has this happened to anyone else? I have read on google that it could be many things and that apparently I should’ve had more tests done and such after my miscarriage than just my OB sitting me down and telling me I’m good to go.

I just don’t know what to do, should I contact a different OB to get a different opinion or request to find out what is going on? I just know my body and I know this isn’t normal for me at all.
