How did you get over your 1st heart break ?

Currently going through a breakup, my family is loving on me and here for me but it still hurts.

Totally cut him out and spent all my time with my BFF. Eventually I got over it and it was the best thing I’ve ever done!

Focused on myself. I did nice things for myself every day. Hair one day. Nails the next. Movie night next. Shopping the next. Favorite take out. They now have break up apps... maybe download one

Heartbreak no. 1 (I left him after realising we had no future but it still hurt like hell): moved to another country, spiralled into sleeping around and generally not having a lot of respect for myself for a very very long time.
Heartbreak no. 2 (FWB gone bad, I caught feelings, he didn't): move to another country so there was no chance for me to be around him.
Heartbreak no. 3 (he was still in love with his ex): months of staring blankly at the ceiling and drinking wine. Forgetting my Mum's birthday was a brutal wake up call which shook me back to life.
Heartbreak no. 4 (the most painful one, he dumped me out of the blue and for no apparent reason): jumped on a train to Paris, cried on my best friend's sofa for 3 days, came back all cried out, never shed another tear for the bastard but almost starved myself to death by accident (I didn't feel like anything, including food for a couple of weeks), then got my act together, got a new job, got a car, moved cities, met Mr Right a week after moving and finally got over heartbreaks no. 1-4. Took only 11 years 😉 
It doesn't have to be as dramatic though. You just have to give yourself some time to mourn the loss you've experienced, understand that a failed relationship doesn't make you a person less worthy of love, and then at some point let go of it all and move on. As Mikhail Bulgakov aptly wrote in Master and Margarita: "Everything will turn out right, the world is built on that".

Delete all pics, distract yourself when you can with hobbies/ friends/ family and then just give it time ☺️

Give yourself time to grieve. Rely on family and friends. Throw yourself into something productive: school, work, hobbies, rebuilding friendships. 
The pain lessens over time.

Delete all pics and remove all sweatshirts if his etc. sit down with yourself and realize that you are grieving the future you saw with him. And that’s ok. Because it will only get better from here💕

Full time College and park time work.
I deleted and block him and got rid off anything related to the relationship like it never existed 
Get a hobbie to help keep you distracted
