Bjork’s Pagan Poetry

There is a song by an Icelandic singer named Bjork called Pagan Poetry and I’m obsessed with that song. The premise of the song is about a woman preparing herself for marriage with the intent of becoming intimate with her betrothed. The music video has the singer in a wedding dress of pearls pierced to her body(painful I know but beautiful nonetheless as Bjork has a beautiful voice). The beginning of the video is stylized sex of Bjork and her then lover, Matthew Barney at the time.

Why am I obsessed with the song you may ask?

It makes me think of how I look forward to giving my virginity to my boyfriend the moment I marry him in the future whenever I hear the lyrics of the song every time I listen to it.
