I have a 9 month old baby girl and she is getting her first tooth. Three days ago she saw her pediatrician and we noticed a tiny little hole in her gums where her tooth is starting to break through. The doctor said it would be fully in within 24-48 hours, but it's already been 72 hours and the hole is bigger, but no tooth has grown in yet.

I understand that everyone is different and I'm not concerned, just curious: how many days from when there was an initial hole in the gums did it take for your baby's first tooth to come fully in?
