Medication

So my daughter is 5 almost 6 months, and she was prescribed medication for something that is on her cheek...well she’s constantly rubbing her face not just that area...and constantly rubbing things on her face like blankets, her soft toys etc...and she moves too much in her sleep to even keep medicine on. My question is how is it possible to keep this medicine on her face?! I am so irritated that the medicine I put on is off of her face within less than a minute of being on there..
