My doctor wants to strip my membranes today but recommended I do some research in advance. My baby is measuring weight wise in the 95th percentile, he was 7 lbs 10 oz - 2 weeks ago. They’ve seen him practice breathing since 30 weeks. I also have mildly high BP. I’m already dilated 2 cm and having contractions here and there, nothing painful yet.

Anyways, anybody have a similar experience and if so how’d it go for you and your baby?

I also read that basically if your body/baby wasn’t ready to go into labor it wouldn’t have a reaction to the stripping of membranes.
