C-section or Natural?¿?

Hey mommies so I have a serious question that has been going back and forth in my head. So when I had my daughter I had an emergency c-section done due to her being in stress and losing fluid, I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and I’ve been given the choice of trying naturally or having another c-section done. Only thing is my kids will be 16 months apart. So I don’t know what to do

I've had 2 natural and will be having my 2nd C section with this baby. If given the option, I would 100% have chosen to deliver vaginally again. The recovery is so much easier, especially with other kids to take care of.

I had a natural delivery with my first. Never experienced a c section however I hope to have a natural delivery again. My epidural was wonderful although I was induced and pitocin is a bitch. However once I was done, I healed very quickly.

I had a emerg c section with my daughter and am she just shy of 18 months from that surgery.  I’m opting to try for aVBAC because I don’t want to deal with the recovery while taking care of a toddler and NB.  My doctor is okay with it because I got to 10 cm no problem and the section was due to my daughter being deflexed and OP.   He says I’m borderline for what they typically like to see time wise - as the recommendation is 18 months between deliveries to try for a VBAC due to increased risk of uterine rupture.  Have you talked to your doctor if they’ll support you or what they’re medical opinion is in you trying under the recommended time frame?
It’s a hard decision- I suffered a lot with birth trauma and really don’t want to do either LOL it came down to trying to avoid the recovery for me ultimately.

I am trying for a VBAC bc I want a large family (this is my second child) but it really just depends on your situation! Good luck making your decision. I know it’s not easy!

I've had two natural kiddos induced and no epidural the birthing itself natural is "harder" but so beautiful. This baby will be c section and I already know c section birth can be "eaisier" but I know for 100% recovery from c section vs natural is gonna be a billion times harder. If you did good with the c section and recovery with that natural is rough just during labor but after will be alot easier because its not a major surgery. Still has it down time n pain but I think recovery from c section is alot more intense. Its up to you mama.

With my 1st born I was induced at 40 weeks I was given cervadil and pitocin. I was in the hospital for 24hrs and I never got any farther than 1cm which I what I went in at. So at 41 wks I had another induction scheduled but I had to go in a bit early because baby boy pooped inside the womb. Once I got to the hospital and into my room my water broke thankfully because I did not want them to break it for me. I was at 2cms at this point. So they started me on pitocin and the foley bulb (basically they put a tube up you vagina and inject it with fluid and wait for it to fall out) 24 hrs later it fell out and I was at 6 or 7cms I can’t really remember. But I maxed out on pitocin so they stopped it. I felt no contractions while in the hospital both times. While waiting to progress hubby and I decided to take a nap well while napping i had 3 nurses rush in my room they threw oxygen on me and wouldn’t tell me what the hell was going on. So at that point I figured out that they couldn’t find his heartbeat so I instantly started to freak out and hyperventilated which didn’t make anything better. They finally found it and had to do an ultrasound that showed my son went sideways. So a few hours later they finally came in a said well it’s time for a csection. Honestly I wish they did that before all this happened it was very traumatic in my opinion. 
Note when my son pooped in the womb I thought they would do immediate action when we got there nope I was in the hospital a day and a half before they did a csection. They had nicu down there to check him out and he passed with flying colors so he wasn’t rushed off. 
When I had my 1st OB appointment with my new doctor I told her I want a csection again and will not do a vaginal birth. After I told her my story she was like yeah we will do another csection but if you decide to change your mind at any point let me know and we can work on some options for a vaginal birth.

I’m opting for a planned csection this time around. I had an emergency one with my first and I honestly just want a peaceful, no drama procedure without the labor pain and all that. First time around I was induced by 2 different methods that failed due to pre eclampsia, they broke my water and then realized my daughter had the cord wrapped around her neck and wasn’t able to descend enough so they REFILLED my uterus with saline to try to float her out of the cord. Didn’t work and she was becoming distressed. After about 36 hours of this nonsense I finally had a csection. I just want to enjoy it this time around and know what to expect without the dramatics. I healed really quickly and nicely with my first and my husband was deployed but I was still able to care for my newborn all by myself despite the surgery so I feel confident about easy recovery again and with my husband here this time around. My first birth experience was really traumatic and I don’t want to do it again in case something goes wrong.
