If your having Braxton Hicks, do they feel like REALLY BAD gas pains?

I’ve had gas pains/bloating all pregnancy. 
Thanks to indigestion. 
31 weeks now with baby 3 and the gas pains feel more like contractions then has pain, I don’t even need to burp or fart(tmi) or go to the bathroom when they come , they are just painful pains. On and off but definitely not enough for me to be heading to the hospital anytime soon.

Basically feels like your belly turns into a hard bowling ball and you can feel it tightening! No pain usually.

My BH just feel like my belly gets tight and it takes my breath away, but there’s no pain. I do get gas pains and those are different, definitely painful.

I can’t really describe it as being extremely painful. It’s more like get a slow cramp in my belly for a min or so then it stops. It’s unpleasant but not painful

No, no cramps no gas,  just the belly get really hard , might take a breath or two. Then it smoothes back. It lasts about 6-8 secs for me

Not painful just like squeezing and tightness; mostly uncomfortable.  Painful usually indicates the real deal.
