My emergency section

So on the 21st January I had a scan (I've had regular scans due to high risk) the doctors said that my babies abdomen stopped growing at 34 weeks they advised that they would break my waters on the Saturdays morning (23rd) I went in got set up, had my covid test and then my waters broken and I was giving iv antibiotics all day and night i had no pain. Early hours Sunday morning I began to feel sick and my waters gushed but they were green. Turns out baby pooped inside me so they rushed me for a section, they were unable to get the spinal tap in and then my obs went crazy and I passed out. Came around 2 hours later in recovery I had a healthy baby boy nothing wrong with his belly. I was taken to a private room and then the nurses and doctors came in to advise that I had tested positive for Covid, I was terrified because I have a suppressed immune system. With all the restrictions and the covid rules in general I was alone in a room with my brand new baby no visitors allowed!! Thank god I got out 2 days later I was able to go home to my husband. I was fairly whacked from surgery and covid, the experience was traumatic and breast feeding was a non starter everything felt wrong. . .

8 weeks later I'm loving my little dude he has been a most welcomed addition to our family!!
