Abnormal lead test in 1yr old *Update

*UPDATE FOR THOSE FOLLOWING:

Turns out my daughters lead and iron were a complete fluke, however if that didn’t happen causing us to do a blood test we would have never found out she is considered neutropenic. Meaning a certain type of white blood cell- neutrophil that fights off viral infections is low. Right now she’s considered moderate. We’re still learning and trying to figure out a more specific diagnosis. But we now take her for routine blood tests every months for now to see how her counts are and anytime she has a fever we have to take her in right away to make sure she can fight it on her own or see if she’ll need fluids and antibiotics with a stay. So crazy how this has all happened.

Desperately wondering if anyone has gone through something similar with their one year old. My daughter had her one year check up where they pricked her finger and it was determined her iron was really low. This was last week, and we’ve been doing iron supplements. Seems to be working as her appetite has increased. Well today her doctor called saying her lead test is abnormal and to go to the hospital to have them draw an actual blood draw to recheck everything. We do not have an update on her lead test, but her doctor called saying her white blood cell count is low and we need to see a hematologist. Her doctor asked if she had been sick or recently fought off a viral infection, but she hasn’t. I don’t know what to think but I’m so scared for what all this could mean. Anyone else go through something similar to give me insight or where things were okay?
