So much to remember

I leave for basic on April 13th. My recruiter gave me so much information to learn that I know will help me, but it’s hard to remember it all. So far I’ve memorized the army song, the phonetic alphabet and numerals, the warrior ethos, and the L.D.R.S.H.I.P Army values.

Does anyone have a strategy for remembering the army ranks because that’s what I’m struggling with the most. Currently studying off of index cards and I can remember them in order but if I’m randomly asked what an E-9 rank would be, I’d have no idea.
