Is there anyone who was diagnosed with chronic insomnia PRIOR to pregnancy? Is there any sleep meds or any meds that your doctor has prescribed that they say are not harmful during pregnancy? I have been on ambien for a year and can't sleep without it. I've tried every over the counter meds for sleeping and relaxing that you can think of...I can't be the only woman in the world who has had insomnia issues prior to pregnancy. Please HELP!! TIA for your stories and recommendations.

P.S. Just received positive test a few days ago. Doctors appointments have been made to get professional opinions.
