Transverse or sideways baby?!

CarrieH.

So at my last OB appointment (33 almost 34weeks) my midwife felt my belly and thought baby was transverse (sideways.) Especially after my Description of how when he’s stretching I can feel it on my left and right side of my belly at the same time. And almost all his kicks are lower and in my bladder area. So to be sure she had me schedule an ultrasound to check for sure. My ultrasound is next week. She didn’t say much just that usually by 34 weeks baby start to settle and might not want to move. But I’m assuming she didn’t want to say much more either way til we check for sure. But I left that appointment thinking of everything that could go wrong cause unfortunately that is how my brain works when I’m worried. 😞 I know I don’t even know for sure yet but it’s stressing me out waiting.

Anyone have any experience with there baby being sideways. Did they turn on there own? Is there something I can do to help? Did you end up needing a c-section? And even any helpful advice about c-sections would be nice. I’ve never had one and to show how afraid of needles and stuff like that I am I’ve already had 2 other baby’s and never gotten an epidural. I mean I am very thankful that a c-section is an option to get my out safely but if I could avoid it that would be ideal for me. Also being honest to a point is fine. Just please no horror stories that will just make me more freaked out. Thanks
