Fever during 1st trimester ??

Last week I had a fever and was not feeling welo, I think i had a viral infection or a cold, bc my son was also sick and thats what he had.

Im 10 weeks pregnant now and I heard babies heartbeat today so I know baby is ok. Last week i was 9 weeks and had a fever of 101 Im not exactly sure how long fever lasted, maybe at most 2-3 days not sure.

Im very worried about the fever causing birth defects to my baby.. I didnt think take any medicine but i just am so worried... can anyone reassure me?? Iv been reading the internet that having a fever in 1st trimester causes birth defects. My dr said we will just see on a ultrasound in 2 weeks but that is so long away... please tell me something thatll make ne feel better... but be honest too so i can prepare myself

Also i just got the nipt bloodwork done today. If there is something like that to happen does this genetic testing tell me or will that not be on it?
