Urgent Care for Tooth?

I went to the dentist Tuesday and they said my teeth are completely healthy. Took two sets of X-rays. But Thursday I got the worst toothache, and it hasn’t subsided. I am in excruciating pain. No dentists are open this weekend. I’ve searched. I don’t see any visible signs of infection, but I can really see far back into my mouth. 
Should I go to urgent care? Or is that stupid? Would they recognize an infection and be able to give me antibiotics until I can get to the dentist Monday? I’m miserable and my husband is out of town. Currently gaining relief by drinking cold water every few minutes. 😩

Do you have any other symptoms aside from tooth pain? Fever? 
Urgent care can give you antibiotics but I would assume if it were an infection the dentist would have caught it. 😬 
Can you try taking ibuprofen over the counter like 800mg and see what that does first.

If it's acute gingivitis it can be more useful to use those little brushes that you use between your teeth and mouthwash than to go straight to antibiotics. my dentist said to give antibiotics was old advice and most could cure it with brushes and mouthwash (corsodyl I think the name was)

I had a terrible toothache a couple of years ago, went to the dentist, and x-rays looked good. My dentist suggested that it might be a sinus infection. Went to urgent care and sure enough it was! (So weird because the pain was in my teeth!) Got some antibiotics and felt 100 times better the next day.

I worked urgent care and we wouldn’t even see toothaches. Best to call and ask.
