Letrozole- when do you ovulate?

Question

New cycle should be coming tomorrow- doctor prescribed letrozole for day 3-7. Curious as when you ovulated if you were taking it? Or how many days after taking it, did you ovulate? My first dose will be 2.5 mg per day- and if it doesn’t work she’ll up it to 5 mg. Cycles are currently very irregular anywhere from 38-85 days.

With my daughter I ovulated on CD 21. With my son I ovulated on CD 18.

Remember if you are using opks while taking letrozole, that you can have false positives through CD10. I always triggered when using letrozole, but my follicles were ready around CD18 almost every cycle. Good luck!

This is my first cycle trying Letrozole as well after TTC for 8 months, I just took my last pill today so I’m wondering the same thing. My doctor told me ovulation usually occurs about 5-8 days after the last pill, so I guess its just a waiting game now! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I only ovulated with a trigger shot, even on letrozole, and when i triggered varied each cycle.
