Infection or.. period spotting?

Me and my partner had sex earlier this week. After 2 days.. yesterday/today, I noticed my vagina having a fishy odor (no itch/burning) & brown/clear discharge.. what could this be? My period starts a week from now.

FYI: I'm a very clean person. He's the first person I've had sex with before. He says he's clean & hasn't had sex with anyone before me and we used condoms (Raw once).

- I'm also on the patch BC since (Oct 20')

*UPDATE 1: Went to the dr. Got swabbed, waiting for results for possible BV. Until then taking metroNIDAZOLE for a week :)
