I was in Target today and I saw a lady wearing a Simply Southern tie dye t-shirt. I honestly didn't think anyone still wore tie dye. Is that still a thing? Do you wear tie dye? The shirt was super pretty though.

I have always worn tie-dye, and will always wear tie-dye… For people in the Grateful Dead (and Phish) communities, we wear tie-dye, and we don’t care what anyone thinks of it. I also noticed that people wear grateful dead clothes/gear and have no idea who the Grateful Dead even is… It’s become a trend.￼ Steelies, Dancing bears, dancing skeletons, etc... it’s becoming really popular. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen someone wearing these shirts, and say, “I love your shirt! Do you like the dead?” And they literally have no idea what I’m talking about. It’s just funny.
￼I know your post wasn’t about Grateful Dead clothing, but just thought I’d throw that topic in there because tie-dyes came from GD community. Tie dye was not a thing until the Grateful Dead came around.￼
