Canned tuna during pregnancy..?

Is it safe to eat canned tuna during pregnancy? I know that might be a silly question but I get so paranoid about everything I eat now 😅

It’s high in mercury so you just need to limit the frequency of any high mercury foods

I eat it a few times a week and have with each pregnancy! Doctor is fine with it. I like the single serving tuna packs for salads! It’s not that big so you don’t end up eating a ton of tuna in one sitting!

There is a limit of how much you should have per week just to be safe due to the Mercury that it contains. So, it’s basically one can of tuna( per week) if it’s albacore or yellowtail and I think it’s like 2 cans (per week) if you eat the light one.

Like the other poster said it contains mercury so you want to limit the quantity you eat every week, otherwise it’s fine.
