Embalming fluid to get high?

Hello ladies, 
I recently just found out from a close friend that my boyfriend gets extremely high off embalming fluid. I never heard of this before. Is this harmful? I didnt know you could get high off of this. Isn’t this what they put in dead people? I’m extremely lost about this. Can someone feel me in about this. And how does it make people act?

I’m really surprised you didn’t notice he was using....It was a big issue in my hometown during high school and well I smoked a few. Don’t judge, peer pressure at 15 was real shit...It’s insane....like hallucinating paranoia type of world that can last 5mins or 3days. Most of the time it’s ‘sold’ as formaldehyde but is often unknowingly cut with some pcp. It’s sold as a liquid and then you dip a joint/blunt or cigarette into the liquid and spark it soaking wet and it’s very flammable but that’s the least your the worries. It sorta smells like plastic burning if you ever catch a whiff around the house with him. It’s usually sold in small glass viles that you could fit a cigarette in. My area the liquid was called water, wet, boat, or dip, it’s clear or if it was cut with another liquid it’d have a slight yellow tint to it in great light. After you dip a cigarette into it you’d call it a dipper, fry, illy, or love boat. I hope this helps you be a little more informed but he needs serious help that shit is extremely dangerous.

Quick google search will give you a surplus of information about embalming fluid use in drugs. I would be extremely concerned as it is not safe for human consumption.

what the eff. this isn’t like doing whippets, embalming fluid?! if he isn’t willing to seek help, you need to please move on. your health and safety could be at risk. please take this from someone who’s been there, done that. not with embalming fluid, but my ex would’ve probably done it had he known about it. there is no convincing someone about anything when it comes to drugs. my ex would stare at a brand new bottle of water for HOURS and trying to get me to “see the microorganisms” in it. he’d freak out if i didn’t see them and if i lied and told him i did he said i was lying and freaked out. he also never let me drive, almost killed me on the highway nodding out. please please don’t subject yourself to this lifestyle, there’s so many guys out there. i know people need help, but you can’t help them until they help themselves

Yes from where I’m from they call it “wet”. It’s an hallucinogen. Most put it on cigarettes and smoke it. I have personally never done it but I am a recovering drug addict. I’ve heard of it many times. I am so sorry you’re going through this.

Yes, it’s commonly called ill or illy where I’m from. And yes it can be very dangerous. I wouldn’t touch that shit with a 10 foot pole!
