Help?

Okay so this is honestly really stupid and child like of me, because let’s be honest spiders shouldn’t be that scary. But I’ve had an extreme fear of spiders for a long time, I got bit once when I was younger and my whole eye swole up. Which I mean can be normal and it was so I kind of just disliked them and said eh, but then I was asleep and woke up to a spider crawling behind me, mind you I am still young, so I get flipped out and leave the room for a minute to collect myself, This thing was pretty big and looked different so I refused to go kill it so I was looking for somewhere else to sleep. I went to one room, there was a spider in there. I went to another room and there was one in there man there was even one in the living room, so I wanted to cry and normally they wouldn’t get to me that much, there was also I time I was showering and a huge one crawled on my hand when I picked up the soap bottle. but ever since that day and a bit before I get these major flipping out modes where I just cry and shake and cant get myself to move when I see the spider, so I cant even get close to it and hit it with a shoe I normally get a older person in my family to kill it. Is there any tips of getting over that fear? Or a way to kill it from a distance and not right near it.
