Do you think it's okay to leash a toddler?
I have one child, a 9 month old who is crawling like crazy. I am a SAHM and do pretty much everything to take care of her. My husband keeps telling me that when she learns to walk, we need to get her a leash. I said definitely not, she's our only child and we can watch her and baby proof the house. He keeps saying I'll be sorry if she gets hurt.
I'm curious what you guys think: do you think it's okay to leash a toddler? I think it depends on the circumstances and if you have multiple children or are out in a crowded place, you might have a more compelling argument, but he is talking about leashing her IN THE HOUSE. We don't even leash our dog in the house. It just seems like an excuse to not parent, if you ask me.
