Do you guys ever get your male partners flowers?

I’ve been with girls and guys and currently have a male fiancé. I don’t see any reason why he can’t be surprised with little gifts and stuff like How ladies are usually treated and it makes him smile when I bring him a little bouquet once in a while so it makes me really happy!
I saw somewhere that most men won’t receive flowers until their funeral and I hate that. 
I really believe in gender equality and getting rid of gender roles. I feel like things like gifts and what you do with or for your partner shouldn’t be affected by your gender(s). But I know some feel different(I won’t argue).
But seriously, if you haven’t done it, I suggest giving it a go. Or just surprise him (or her or them) with a little present once in a while. Small unexpected things go a long way for people

I personally think gender roles are fine. If people dont subscribe to them thats fine too. Most men I know would not care to recieve flowers per se but they do like to be made to feel special. And most women i know would absolutely be estatic if they recieved flowers🤷🏽‍♀️. It is... what it is.

My fiancé would rather some sex, beer or some beef jerky or starbursts or something. He buys me flowers a lot but literally says he has no clue what to do with them (clip, feed, water, etc.)

I get my husband flowers every so often. I know he doesn't care to much about them because I'm usually the one refilling the water. Lol. But he lives the gesture.

I've gotten my husband flowers randomly before. He has a favorite, and in general enjoys them and the smell of them 
I think it's a win-win. He enjoys them and feels special and knows I've thought of him, and I love flowers so I get to enjoy them too 🤷🏼‍♀️

Only if he likes flowers?  I've only ever received one bunch of flowers from my husband coz he knows I'd much rather have a large packet of my favourite crisps as a treat, or wine/prosecco. He only bought the flowers coz it was half price the day after Valentine's and knew that would make me laugh.

My husband wouldnt like to receive flowers from me. The point of a gift is to get something the other person would like. So me getting flowers for my husband because I like getting flowers and want to make a statement about gender equality wouldn't really be a gift for my husband, because it isn't what HE wants.  If your fiance would like to receive flowers as a gift, then that's a different situation.

￼Men will not appreciate flowers like a woman would, if you want to do something nice for your partner, their favorite meal, their favorite alcohol, their favorite cigar, that type of thing. But flowers it’s just crap to them I’m sorry it’s something that dies, it’s a waste of money, that type of thing is how they see flowers I have talked to many men about this. If a man wants to feel appreciated you give him something that he needs, he likes, and would appreciate. Usually with men they’re pretty vocal about what’s wrong in their life, or something that’s broken or something they need. If they’re out of socks, they’re wearing them multiple times a day they have holes in them, they would appreciate probably a new package of socks, they lost her wallet, their watch bro, they would need a new band on their watch, that type of thing. Men appreciate acts of service, when you go above and beyond and do little things, they had a hard day at work, or a holiday, A guy who is a sports fanatic, would probably appreciate tickets to a future game for him and his friends to go, or a mini fridge by the couch stopped with his favorite food and drinks, so that way he doesn’t have to get up during a game or a cooler, but trust me flowers would not be appreciated and adored or admired like for a woman. If you see you know some thing with holes in it or some thing it’s very worn down or you know he needs some thing, that he appreciates. If you know he’s working long nights, and he’s dependent on his Phone to watch movies and things like that maybe a gift card for Hulu or a company he doesn’t have￼ or he mentions a movie that he wants to see on HBO max, that he would appreciate. Often times if we just listen, guys tell you what they need. But we are so wrapped up and taking care of kids and taking care of our own things, that we really don’t pay attention. Figure out what your partners love language is, quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service, and it would probably go a lot further than just giving a man flowers, she really wouldn’t appreciate it because it’s just something that’s gonna die some thing he can use long-term some thing That he actually can make some use of.￼ men get flowers because they know it’s something you like, it’s something that’s expected on a holiday, and it’s usually something they can grab and go from the grocery store pretty cheap it’s right in the front for that reason. They don’t have to go to the back of the store looking all over the place for stuff men or some people that like things done quickly and efficiently. When women grocery shop, we go up and down all the aisles take forever we see something we like stuff that’s not on our list etc. I meant grocery shops, he gets exactly what he needs and leaves. It’s the same thing at Hallmark, a woman goes to Hallmark for greeting cards, she starts crying she reads one card after another, with a man, it’s two or three cards Max, and he’s got the card he needs and leaves.
