Baby safe scissors for hair?

My son’s hair is starting to get really long, but he is incredibly squirmy - any advice on scissors?  Are baby nail scissors sufficient?

Honestly, I just used cheap hair cutting scissors for my daughter’s bangs. I let her play with the comb and she stayed still (enough) that I wasn’t worried about cutting her. They are sliiiightly uneven though, ha.
