Hello ladies. My husband is getting ready to go into the military. When we made this decision, I was all for it. At the time I even knew that he would be gone for a while some times. But as his departure date gets closer and closer, I find myself getting so sad because him and I have never been separated. The longest we have been gone from each other is 1 month but we still saw each in that month. Every time I'm alone, I get this very depressed and sad feeling because I know that when he's gone, it will feel like another part of you has just been ripped away. Does or is anyone in this or have been in this situation with military life? If so, how do you handle it? We have three children so how did adjusting to home life work? I just would like all the support I can get on this topic considering this will be a new life for my husband and I and this kids.
