Getting close to 40, am I too late for IVF?

Question

Myself and my husband having been trying for 7 years. I'm not sure where the time has gone. I have PCOS and it's allways difficult to try and gauge when I might be ovulating, if at all. So now IVF us on our mind. It's all a bit confusing. I'd love any advice 💕💕

It all depends on your fertility but if all is well, there’s no reason why 40 is too late. My cousin is 39 and her IVF baby is now 6 months old. 
I also had an IVF baby (I’m 37). I would just say not to put too much pressure on yourself. If things don’t work out, it’s not because you did something wrong or that you’re not good enough. Set reminders for injections. Get into a good routine. Be kind to yourself. And for me, the process really wasn’t as hard as I’d imagined - I’d recommend taking it one small step at a time so as not to feel so overwhelmed. Best of luck to you both!

Aww that's just lovely, thank you. Yaa I feel quite positive. Since the lockdown, working from home has removed one of my biggest stresses in life, commuting 2 hours every day. It's had such a hugh impact on my sleep, digestive system and nervous system. If there was a time for us to do IVF it's now. Thank you Xx
