18 month food
Is it ok to still give a 1 and half year old store bought baby foods? Not milk but actual baby food they sell in jars, tubs, pouches.
My moms saying he should be eating our food but I’ve noticed normal age food has a lot of salt etc in so I try to give him store baby foods for dinner and pudding as they have all the veg and fruit in. I buy a mix of 7+ months up to 1 or 18 months and he has weetabix for breakfast with a pinch of sugar or none at all
I was just wondering what low salt and low sugar things could I make my child? Or is it okay for me to give him store bought aswell as our food?
Update. Thank you everyone for your advice! He does have solid foods but I like to give him the baby food jars or pots as a sort of snack or for lunch then solid food for dinner, or he’ll have some of the jars and what not with solids in. Between as he hasn’t got all of his teeth yet (almost!).
No way! I didn’t know that baby foods have lead and things like that in them. That’s incredibly dangerous!!
