can I not have kids?
I’m 26 so obviously so don’t have to worry about it yet, but I’m still concerned. when I was younger, I would have my period for months nonstop. they were heavy and painful. my doctor never addressed it, just said some people don’t ovulate and put me on birth control. I’ve since come to learn that if I don’t ovulate, I cant get pregnant. I recently got off of birth control (because there was no need and it made me sick anyway). the first few periods were late, but all lasted five days and seemed normal. after about the third or fourth period, I stopped bleeding at all. it was 60+ days before I got the period I’m on now. normally, they last five days exactly. I am now going on my second week of having my period.
I know birth control and coming off of it can mess up your cycle, but is it possible I’ll just go back to having a constant period and that I won’t ovulate? there is nothing I want more in this world than to eventually be a mom. what if I just can’t have kids? 🙁
