Mask Progress?

Question

Anyone having progress getting their June baby to wear a mask??
I feel like we are getting further and further from success. I really need her to wear one in 6 weeks. Lol
Any tips and tricks for what has worked for other resistant toddlers?
We’ve tried putting them on her favorite bear. She screams bloody murder, rips them off and throws them at us. 🤪 we wear them in front of her. Show her how to do it. Let her play with it. What else can I do!?

Nope. She likes ripping mine off when we’re at the store as well. I’m not going to push it. Nobody is going to magically know she’s two so until she’s more comfortable with it then I’m not going to force it. We are extra careful in other ways so I’m not worried about her wearing one.

It's a no go at our house too, she thinks it's funny until it's almost on and then she rips it off 😒

Nope, and I don’t plan on making him. He will jokingly put it on but it may only be on 3-5 minutes. Not that big of a deal to me since hopefully things will be looking way better here by mid summer

Aint they too young for masks? I have seen der kids with no masks. Honestly i have never even tried ti give him a mask

We aren’t required to wear them anymore . In states where my friends live that are, the kids still don’t wear them

Took us a solid 2 months. Now he is absolutely fine with a mask on.

Mine did for the first time today saying she wanted to be a big girl like sissy. She touched it a lot and kept playing with it while literally eating it from the inside lol but she kept it on!  I think it wouldn’t have worked well if she didn’t have an older sibling to watch do it with no issues

We are making baby steps.  She’ll hold it up to her face but won’t let us put the ear straps around her.  We made up a song that we sing multiple times a day which she likes and takes as a sign to hold it up to her face.  It’s slow going.  The song ha “do your task, wear your mask, cover your nose mouth and ears; do your task, wear your mask, even though your only two years.”  Yes it’s cheesey, and not a particularly good song but it’s all I could come up with.  Perhaps a song or something could make it more fun for you guys.

My son refuses to wear one too. I’ve tried bribing him with anything and everything and he still won’t wear it lol I’m thinking I might try a face shield or balaclava type covering just to get some protection for him and peace of mind for me when we’re out and about.
