Did your doctor ever change your FET protocol after so many failed transfers?

I ended up with 3 good AA embryos from my retrieval, (not PGT-A tested).

First transfer failed, did an ERA showed pre receptive and needed 144 hours of progesterone prior to transfer. Next transfer after ERA also failed. Now I’m down to my last embryo and the FET protocol is the same: estrace 2mg twice daily then once lining looks sufficient start PIO daily and transfer after 144 hours of PIO.

At my follow up call after the last unsuccessful transfer I asked about adding any additional meds and I got a no.

I realize it’s only been 2 failed, and really the first didn’t stand a chance based on the progesterone changes the had to make based on the ERA but I just wonder if other people just kept trying the same thing over and over or if their doctors changed or added meds to the FET protocol after so many attempts.

If the next one fails we are looking at another retrieval and a fresh dual embryo transfer.

Just wondering if it really does just take a few tries like they are saying??
