This has been over a 2 year issue and it’s driving me nuts. I was having recurring yeast infections and finally another doctor diagnosed BV and cleared everything up. But I ended up taking the Everlywell HPV test once things shut down from the pandemic. That came back positive but my new doctor didn’t “believe in home test results” and retested me, which came back positive again. The colposcopy afterwards came back negative and I was set for a follow up 6 months later.

Just got the 6 months results and the pap was negative but still had HPV. The tech said i retest again in a year.

Why is there still no solution for this? I haven’t even been sexually active in the last 2 years. Am I supposed to tell my next partner if I started dating again?

I’ve also had an ongoing battle with weight gain during this time period, could that mean something else?

Should I get a second opinion from another obgyn?

This just ruined my entire day.
