Baby Shaking Head

I am a FTM, so I’m not for sure if I need to call my pediatrician. My LO, when trying to cut his first tooth (he also was congested), started shaking his head from side to side. Once his first tooth cut, it seemed to stop. He is cutting 2 teeth now at the same time, and the head shaking has started again, but it’s starting to concern me. He doesn’t do it for a long period of time, but he does it more often. He is a little congested again from teething, so could it be an ear infection? Any advice would help! I may get his ears checked just to be safe. Does anyone else’s LO shake their head side to side when teething?
