I’m 44, and got a positive pregnancy result.  My last period was 2/9, putting me at 7weeks/6 days. The earliest Dr. appointment I could get is for April 26 to do bloodwork and U\S.  Trying to not stress, but given miscarriage rates for us older moms to be, I’m scared.

Definitely get into the Doctor and at least make sure your levels are rising appropriately. I'm 43 and just had my 2nd miscarriage in less than a year. It could possibly been due to low progesterone.

I got pregnant naturally at 44.5 and lost it. It is important to get checked out because as others mention, low progesterone can end a pregnancy. You also need a scan because you may not even really be pregnant. You can have a positive test but just an egg sac and no embryo (happened to my friend recently). She thought she was 8 weeks pregnant and she was never even really pregnant: it’s one kind of “missed miscarriage” when the body does not realize this. Or, it could be a healthy pregnancy! But doctor, now.

I will teach i know this is bad idea but pretend that ur spotting tell them about that.. they will accomodate you even just blood test.. ask them youre hcg and progesterone level.. they did accomodate me even scheduled me saturday but im really spotting but just every morning... i dont have actually plan calling them but got scared when the spotting started at 5weeks 3days...
