OGTT test?

I know the basics, fast-blood test-gross drink-blood test, but can anyone give me a rundown of how their day actually went? I’m 28 weeks now and it’s been mentioned to me but nothing has been booked yet so I don’t know what’s going on there. 
How much blood is taken is my main question? I had my 28 week bloods today and it was an absolute nightmare i almost fainted 😩 I’d really rather not go through that again.

I would be asking your OB. The glucose test is supposed to be done between 26 and 28wks.

If you can't deal with the blood draw your only other option may be to self test four times a day for a week. A small prick on the finger when you wake up before food, and then 2 hours after every meal. If you think you could handle that mention it to your OB

Is this the glucose/gestitational diabetes test? If so, for my 1 hr I went in, drank the juice and they drew 1 tube of blood. For the 3 hr I went in, drank the juice and they took 1 tube of blood and then 1 additional tube each hour for 3 hours. If this is not the test you're speaking of then I'm not sure cuz I've never hears of it tbh
