Mom of girls, What should I be expecting???

If there's one thing I should know about having a baby girl, What would it be for you moms of girl/s?

They have a baby period! So if you wipe when she’s a couple weeks old and there’s blood, don’t freak! That’s just your period hormones that her body is getting rid of. So wild! Oh and also baby girls are the best thing ever. Your new bestie 🥰

Wipe front to back 😂😂😂 and I know that’s a DUH. But you’d be surprised how many times I had to tell my MIL bc she had 2 boys lol.  Other than that just enjoy your new best friend/ soul mate. My daughter is my absolute world and I’m so excited I’m having another one.

I’m pregnant with baby girl #3 and I would have to say the are easy when they are little but at about 5 the drama queen attitude starts. EVERYTHING is a big deal. I love my girls and wouldn’t change anything. 🥰

Oh they are so sassy and talkative silly smart and curious. We have 2 girls and all I can say is Girls  just wanna have fun! She will be your new bestfriend.

My daughter actually had fused lips!
No one in my entourage thought she was abnormal. The dr prescribed a hormonal cream to apply  and they opened. Thats the only odd thing that happened here.

Agreed with baby period/discharge and also they can have some milk too in the days after. Keep it clean and wipe back like others said.
Otherwise nothing specific! I’ve found clothes/shoes can become a big focus, she has extremely specific tastes even at 18 months which can cause a lot of tantrums. letting them choose their own when they’re older can help, but no idea if that’s just my daughter 😅

Lmao oh the world.  I have thre girls now.  Twin 8 year olds (come may) and an almost 2 year old, and of course my last baby(was hoping for a boy).  So the clothes lots of variety and of course everything is cuter.  So naturally you want the same clothes in every option  available lol.  Diapers typically you will go through more little girls do not like sitting in their own waste.  My twins were NICU graduates and while I was up there as a first time mom and freaking out the nurses let me in on a little inside secret.  They said typically girls do better and called the boys (specifically white boys) whimpy white boys as typically they do need extra care and do not thrive as well as girls.  
But over all raising them up is all on you.  I tend not to put much value on traditional toys, colors or roles.  My girls go fishing, help daddy change the oul on cars, bake, do laundry, clean, wears pants and dresses.  Like cars and dolls.  If you raise your kids to believe that girls cant they will think they cant.  But if you do not teach cant they will think the sky is the limit.
