So my doctor looked into me having PCOS a couple of years when she discovers cysts all over my ovaries. Apparently my hormones were “normal” so she said I was good to go. Well, I’ve been trying to get pregnant for 6 months now with no success and I have 46-50 day cycles. I have never had regular periods, ever since I got my period at 13. I have some physical symptoms but not all of the classic PCOS symptoms. When I gain weight, it is more likely to be in my upper body and waist, although I am currently at a healthy weight. I grow body hair really fast, although it is mostly in normal places (I mean we all have a little mustache, right?). Ive always built muscle easily 😂 and suspected that I had higher than average testosterone. Sex often hurts inside, in my uterus/ovary area, but never in my vagina. Certain positions are unbearable on certain days, and I think it is due to my ovarian cysts but I don’t know. I’m just wondering what PCOS looks like for all of you who have it. Have any of you been diagnosed due to irregular periods and cystic ovaries, but with hormones in the normal range?
