Married to a hypochondriac

Anyone else?

I can't take him seriously. And I feel bad because he legitimately feels like he has whatever ailment he just self diagnosed himself with.

Also, if our daughter or I have an actual issue going on, he suddenly has it. For example, I have had TMJ for as long as I can remember and in late 2019 I developed disc displacement and can barely open my mouth (requires surgery that I'm too scared to get) and now out of nowhere he has the same problem. (He doesn't lol)

Just in the past month he has self diagnosed himself with

•Cancer multiple times, because he's tired

•Gum infection

•Dead tooth

Because he had a canker sore

•Hemorrhoids

•Anal Fissure

because he's constipated and couldn't poop

•Fractured pinky

•Sprained Pinky

•Dislocated pinky

Because our daughter threw a small wooden block on his hand

•Hypothyroidism

Because he has gained a little weight

•Heart Disease

Because he gets out of breath after running

•Tumor (it was a knot in his back I worked out lol)

I know it seems like a miniscule issue but it's exhausting. He has gone to the ER so many times over our 8 years together and always is told there is nothing wrong with him.

It's almost like he doesn't just think there is something wrong but he WANTS something to be wrong wrong him.

Is there like a deep rooted issue with this? Like childhood trauma? He had a horrendous childhood and basically raised himself from 5 years old up.
