Children's books

I want to write my son a book and possibly publish it. But i dont know what to do with the illustrations as am not good at drawing and no cash to pay someone for it. Book is ages 0-3. Sometimes i think i should just do stick people. Lol wtiting kids bools is tough. How to get message across without saying so much in the easiest of word can eb a challenge. .
