So me and my S/o been together for about 3 years now we have a good trusted bond so one of my close friend invited me to her brother wedding in a whole different state when I told my s/o instantly got mad saying he don’t want me to go and I told him I was regardless because that’s my close friend was I in a wrong ? And not considerate ?

Maybe it was how you stated it to him? If he felt like you were just telling him you’re doing something without any consideration to him that may come off as quite rude. I always phrase things as more of a “is it cool if I do this” or “ do you have any objections” rather than just telling my partner I’m doing something and he does the same to me. You should definitely be able to go to the wedding with your friend but I’d sit down and try to find out why he was angry. Did he feel left out of the event, the decision process, or something else?

Why doesn’t he want you to go? I can understand him being upset that you’ve been together for long enough that he should at least be also invited or a plus one on your invitation. Either way, it sucks to feel left out but he shouldn’t try to stop you from going or make you feel bad.
