What’s appropriate to wear to a child’s birthday party?

I’m 31. I don’t feel like I dress sleazy or anything, haha. My husband buys me clothes that I really like, but they are mostly crop tops and such. With high-waisted jeans, they don’t really show much of my stomach. However, I have some relatively conservative friends, and I feel like maybe they would judge me if I wore my usual clothes around them. I usually just stick to leggings and a dress when I see them. I really want to wear my new clothes, and they make me feel more confident. However, I’m attending a toddler birthday party today. Do you think high waisted jeans and a crop top are inappropriate? If someone showed up to my toddler’s party like that, I would just think they are a “hip mom” haha. 
The clothes are all from American Eagle. Glow doesn’t let me post pics for some reason. If you can help with this issue, I am open for tech support as well. I have an iphone12. Haha.

I’m 32 but apparently not a “hip mom” because I don’t wear crop tops or high waisted pants and neither do any of my mom friends. I’m not comfortable in them and they are not flattering on my body at all. I generally just wear jeans and a regular length shirt to birthday parties. But I also don’t show much skin at events, especially when I’m also running around taking care of my own kids.

As long as your outfit is tasteful I’d say absolutely go for it. Something like pics 1 & 2. 
Anything like pic 3 I’d say is absolutely not appropriate for a kids party 😂 
Also, in settings on your phone you can change what photos the app can access!

It all depends on what you like. I'm 22 and a young mom and have never dressed likw that. I think smost high waisted jeans and crop tops look dumb asf 🤷

Wear whatever you want! If somebody has a problem with it, that’s their problem. I love the style of crop tops with high waisted pants. Wish I could wear it!  if someone showed up to my daughters party in that, I would not think it’s inappropriate at all. But you know there will always be someone who has something to say when they see someone who looks too cute. I wouldn’t worry about it though.￼

I'm 32 and think you should dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable. If dressing conservative for them makes you mentally comfortable then that counts as well. If they're your friends, though, then they know you and how you dress. 
I don't usually dress that way, but it's a confidence thing. So I love seeing other people dress in a way that makes them who they are!
