Normal?

Question

Any ultrasound techs on here? This scan was done at 11+1. My obgyn did the scan very quickly and listened to the heartbeat but I felt rushed. When I asked if everything looked okay she just said “yes”. However I’m an anxious person and can’t help but wonder if all this little babes facial features look “normal” I know this is a ridiculous question but I feel like my obgyn didn’t really go over anything with me.

Normal. If something was wrong they would tell you. Babies look like aliens on scans lol

Thanks ladies. This is my first pregnancy and I was just a little shocked with how rushed my OB was but I guess it’s normal, and you’re right if there was any concern I’m sure she would have mentioned something. Thank you for the reassurance.

I know you're anxious, but just remember that if something looked off or was wrong, your doctor would tell you. All the features of your baby's face are reviewed carefully at your anatomy scan. At 11+1, baby's features are still developing. Doctors do have a habit of rushing. Don't be afraid to say "I have a few questions" before they leave the room.
