Jinxing...

Hey guys, i’m in need of some different opinions.. I have always heard you shouldn’t buy anything baby related before you conceive because it will jinx it from happening for you. Is this a standard belief? Or am i being paranoid.

My husband and I have been trying for about 9 months now with 0 luck. I have never bought anything child related for us due to not wanting to jinx us. But tbh its just not happening either way so im wondering if i should just cave and start preparing for when it does happen? Or if ill jinx us for who knows how long! 😩🤦🏻‍♀️

We really want a child and I am the kind of person who likes to prepare for things ahead of time so it really bothers me that we have nothing set up for when it happens.

What are your thoughts?🙈
