Birth control while breastfeeding

I’m 7 weeks postpartum and I am about to start my birth control. The doctor gave me “Lutera” birth control pills. Is it safe for breastfeeding? I looked it up and it says that it’s not. Have any of you ever used this brand? How is it with hormones?
