Am I crazy or are they?

Mostly everyone I know has stopped caring about Covid. They’re traveling, having parties, get togetherness, throwing huge birthday parties for their kids, they’re just living life normally. I know a pregnant woman on vacation with 20+ girlfriends at the beach right now and they’re going to beach concerts packed with other people. None of these people have taken the vaccine either. I took the vaccine a few weeks ago and I’m still nervous to be around anyone unmasked. Am I crazy? Do I need to loosen up? Or is everyone else crazy?

I understand that many people are fed up with all the restrictions, but people need to have a middle ground to everything. Like nobody is telling you to stay home all day, if you go out just wear your mask and distance yourself. It's not that hard to do. Dont go all crazy just because the restrictions have been lifted like those springbreak parties. The most important thing is to keep yourself and others safe. The pandemic is far from over!

Being vaccinated you can loosen some restraints and feel confident in that decision! The folks not getting vaccinated and carrying about their business normally are dumb, selfish, and will probably get sick eventually.

I got vaccinated, so I am going back to normal.  I mean... that’s the whole point of the vaccine, right?  But prior to that I was very careful.

I’m vaccinated at this point and only interact with other people unmasked who are vaccinated as well. Sadly, I think this pandemic has pointed out how many people lack empathy for others. They may not worry about getting ill, but could infect others who could becoming seriously ill.

Hot button topic but I'll give me 2 cents. 
I think at this point in time it is unreasonable to expect that people will continue to adhere to extrordinarily strict guidelines that limit their movements and daily activities any longer. 
There are many factors that can influence this. People may be fatigued and no longer wish to live in this way, they may have gotten their vaccine and feel as if they've done their part, they may have gotten covid, recovered and have antibodies, they may be distrustful due to the flip flopping nature of the news cycle or be wary of all the goal post moving and added restrictions regardless of what transpires. 
While covid is certainly real and can be dangerous there IS an element of dystopia in this whole equation. Humans need to have an outlet and need to have some type of certainty, solution or path to the above. 
People for the most part quarrantined, they wore masks, they willingly blew up their lives and made extraordinary sacrifices. This was done becuase the rates needed to drop and the medical systems couldn't be overwhelmed. It was supposed to be "15 days to slow the spread". 15 turned into 30 turned into 120 turned into 240 turned into a year and 3 months.....and counting. 
They waited for a solution. Out came a vaccine, then two, then three now four. They got it but nothing changed. No progression. Still mandates, still closures, still masks. Guidance like "get the damn vaccine...I mean, we don't know how long it will be effective or even if it will prevent issues but shut up and get it" instilled no confidence. No questions could be answered and even incidental dissenters posing concern were attacked and beaten into the shadows. Only immense pressure with no change. 
No guidance for those who had covid already and are part of part of safe population was ever even breached. To the contrary they get beat up becuase they dare question the saftey of vaccine. Most are open to it, but not when the questions are all answered with "I don't knows". 
It's a tough thing. I think fundamentally most people really do want to do the right thing, lord knows I do....but it has become quite cumbersome and unreliable in and of itself as an issue. It's gone from pandemic to some sort of tribal issue...you dont have to look any further than this board. Anyone who doesn't agree vehemently with "the right thing" is argued into oblivion. It's rediculous to be honest.
