At what age do you believe it's appropriate to let your son go on a date with a girl that he likes ? & why ?

id drop my son off for dates and stay in the area starting at 13. like say if theres a movie theater right by a shopping plaza then i would go shopping while he is on the date. i feel like it would be weird if i was like sitting in the back of the movie while hes trying to impress somebody.

I'd probably allow my son to go on a small date (movie, fast food) something where I could drive them stay and watch, probably around the age of 14 or 15. Solo dates at 16 or 17. Thats when I was allowed to go out unsupervised. It will probably be the same with my daughter too.
