Okay so I’ve seen some posts about toddler beds and I’ve always posted that we moved our daughter to a queen at 15 months and she did great. She never tried to get out of her bed until 3yrs old because she didn’t realize she could. She was always a great sleeper and put herself to sleep. I thought toddler beds were a waste of $$. Our son sucks at sleeping and will be in the crib until he’s 13. Anyways i have encountered something that has changed my mind. Our 3yr old is in the middle of finishing up potty training. We are letting her be in her underwear at naps and at night. At night she stays dry for 11hrs and does great! The downfall is somewhere between 8:00 and 8:30pm when she is playing/reading in her bed she decides to pee the bed and not use the potty. It’s a lot harder to clean a mattress than it is to wipe off a crib mattress. We have a mattress cover but it’s not doing it’s job well 😂
