What am I supposed to put in bassinet?

I’m 39 weeks and just moved the bassinet into our room. I know you aren’t supposed to put a lot of blankets or stuffed animals so am I just supposed to dress her in a sleeper, swaddle her and then just lay here in the bassinet? I don’t even think this bassinet has a sheet cover I could put on it.

It definitely should have a sheet because they need to be changed frequently between spit up and diaper leaks.  I’d look up the brand online and see what kind of sheets they sell for it

We’ve just put a waterproof mattress protector on and then a sheet otherwise it will be game over for the mattress on day 1 🙈

Nothing but a sheet and baby with or without a swaddle. The first picture that’s a king sized pillow case (it fit over the little mattress perfectly. The second is a changing pad cover which also fit like a glove.

Game changer for me, put a waterproof mattress pad (the pack n play pad does stay damp even after you wipe it down) then a sheet, another waterproof mattress pad, and a sheet.  That way if you have midnight pukes or diaper blow out, you can take off the top two layers without having to change the whole set.
