Rising hcg level after miscarriage ?!

Long story short, I miscarried 2 weeks ago. My first blood work was only 83 at 5 weeks so I knew I would. I had the blood and clots and everything. I have been going in for repeat blood work due to the fact my hcg level keeps rising (very slowly). Today it was 298 when I would have been about 7 weeks.

Anyways , I had an ultrasound & there was absolutely no baby which I figured.

But now she’s saying if it keeps rising I have to get an injection due to the fact it could be an ectopic pregnancy.

I have no pain and only symptom I have is bleeding but I assumed it was from miscarrying. Every thing is so up in the air and I am a nervous wreck.

Any have any experience with rising hcg levels after miscarriage and / or ectopic pregnancy ?!
