I'm confused

My AF was 4 days late so I take a test it was negative. The next day I started my AF it was like every Period I have ever had. A week later I started to feel off. My sense of smell woz definitely something out of the normal. My this time I have Completed taking Clomid and was wanting for my Ovulate strip to get darker. I don't know why but this morning I felt like taking one of those pregnancy test. A man was I surprised I got a fate positive. But how I had my AF It doesn't make sense. I'm just really confused
